Not a Bad Friday!

The Good Friday relays at Newburn were a little chillier than in past years but still saw some cool running. There was a good turn out with some of our runners stepping up again and also some newer members trying out relays for the first time.

As always, the Strollers’ team spirit was evident as veterans and newbies alike raced their 2.2 respective legs. There was some cracking running with Chris Dwyer clocking in as fastest Stroller.

It was, however, the vet ladies who walked away with the bling – Ashleigh Bennett, Gillian Ritchie and Wendy Chapman (fastest Strollette) won the silver medal. Excellent running girls!
