Defibrillator – good news!

We hope it’ll be our least used purchase but we have, today, had approval from Sunderland City Council for our application for funds to purchase a defibrillator.

This will be homed at Ashbrooke as an additional defibrillator but will be deployed in the future for races where we are providing medical support – primarily our P2P run.

The funding has come from the Community Chest Scheme and the wards of St Michael’s, Hendon, Ryhope and Millfield. We would like to extend our thanks to all involved parties in helping us to buy this potentially life saving piece of equipment.
