Oh me lads!

The big one last week was Blaydon. A most respectable turnout meant that loads of Strollers were running along that Scotswood Road, albeit slightly earlier than the ‘normal’ time. Many have gone along this road several times but it was also good to see many don their club vests for the first time in this race. Well done!

Heading West, we had Michael Armstrong and Clare Baharie run the picturesque Coniston Marathon. Well done guys, looked a lovely day!

Even further away, we had David Langrish completing in the Comrades Ultra, finishing in a brilliant time of just over ten hours. Awesome running from a man who is proving that the Northern life is good for you!
