Sunny days out!

The sun has been shining and the Strollers have too. The Weetslade Relays took place last Wednesday and our A Team – Wendy, Chris and Callum – finished in a most impressive 5th place. C Team won a goody bag of bizarre spot prizes, but hey, a prize is a prize!

The previous Sunday saw a good group of Strollers taking part in the Trail Outlaws Pieces of Eight half marathon. This tough course takes in the ups and downs around the Monument and is no easy Sunday run out. John Cook scooped first place, a lovely way to celebrate his first Father’s Day. Lyne Valentine was also a winner, taking the Vf60 prize. Well done both!
