Away days.

This was a weekend for a little bit of travelling. Nearest to home was our super Lyne Valentine. Lyne constantly delivers and Bamburgh half was no exception with Lyne scooping 1st V60 in 1:44:29. Amazing running again and in a time that many of our young ‘uns would love to achieve. Keep on collecting those medals!

Richard Baker headed off to the Heart of Eden half, a pretty, if slightly undulating, route. Richard finished in a highly respectable 1:40. Terry Topping joined the halfers, running the Langdale in 1:51. FGT’s words of wisdom? Don’t do a hilly half so soon after a very hilly Ultra. Well done gents!

Meanwhile, in Amsterdam, Doug Rutherford and Tara Horner both achieved marathon PBs. Well done you two, great to see such improvements.
