Dentdale Day Out

Over thirty Strollers travelled to the beautiful village of Dent on Saturday to run the undulating Dentdale 7.9 – with two tough lads taking on the 14m route. The weather was ideal for the runners, not cold at all and a smattering of drizzle to cool the sweaty brows.

We had another impressive performance from Andy Forbes, second overall in 46:54. Not content with that, Luke McCormack was third, Ritchie Gerry was fourth, and first V50, Michael Dixon fifth and Gary Hargrave sixth (and he also took aV40 prize). Lesley Watson celebrated her birthday, which took her into a new age category, by winning first V55 category. Jolly good going and prizes galore!
