International Strollers

The picturesque Bamburgh Castle was the starting back drop for the Northumberland Castles half marathon. Jen Deighton headed North to claim 1st vet and 3rd lady overall in a PB of 1:35. Luckily, storm Brian behaved relatively well during her run and it was, according to Jen, “a lush tranquil scenic route”. Well done that girl!

Further afield, Dansina took their Stroller vests to Lausanne. Just to make their holiday complete, Dan ran the marathon while Hasina took on the half. Considering both just slotted the runs in for the craic, two very decent times were ran. Dan ran 3:27, pretty impressive considering his pre-race prep of eating and drinking everything in sight. Hasina trotted round the half in 1:44, another jolly good holiday race time. Canny!
