Manic May!
May has been crammed with Races – not a good month for lap top strops! The Sunderland 10k and half  marathon started the busy-ness and Strollers were everywhere! We had dozens of runners and plenty of marshals, making this a superbly supported route. Many achieved PBs (Doug achieved his while flanked by Ant and Harry!), beginners took on their first race and we had our fasties up there with the best. A massive well done to Mark Anderson, 6th over the finish line in the half, clocking a superb tome of 76:56. Mark also ran on to podium in the P2P but more of that later.
In a more peaceful race, Chris Dwyer ran his way to 2nd place in the Derwentwater Reservoir 7 miler, continuing a run of cracking running.
We also had a fair few headed down to Rock and Roll around Liverpool, thoroughly enjoying the apres run fun too!
