Congratulations to all those who took part in the first race of this years Virtual handicap, results are here. Well done to John Halligan who not only recorded the fastest 5K but also beat his target time by an impressive 1m 46s and thus scooped the 200 points. Our fastest lady was Gillian Ritchie.

Well done to all those who completed #2 Winter Handicap, nice to see some more people joining in. Fastest man once again (with an identical time to last month) was John Halligan although Anthony Wilton is hot on his heels. Fastest lady was Gillian Ritchie.

Thanks for all of the #4 run times, joint fastest males were John Halligan and Anthony Wilton, fastest lady was Julie Pescod. First virtual runner home was Michelle Stockton, over a minute ahead of Kelly Rosborough who was closely followed by Harry Harrison. Overall Anthony Wilton has opened up an 11 point lead over Gayle Woodruffe while Kay Wilson has crept past Gary Dunmore into 3rd place. It’s all still to play for in the #5 run next month. Well that’s it for another year, the (Virtual) Winter Handicap is complete, our champion is Kay Wilson who pipped Anthony Wilton right at the very end following a week blighted by Beast from the East 2. For #5 race our winner was Marc Stubbs who managed to get out before the ice and snow, he was followed home by Gillian Ritchie and Malcolm Cox. Fastest time of the event was once again John Halligan with Gillian our fastest lady. Well done to everyone who took part across the 5 months, I hope that it provided some form of competition and that we’ll be back to the real thing in October. Full results are here.
