The Big Apple.

More globetrotting from Strollers took place recently as Vanessa Bennett, Lyne Valentine and Mark Robinson headed over to the NY Marathon.

Lyne was running in another vest this time; she had the honour of representing her country and wearing the team colours in the opening ceremony. Fabulous Lyne, you have done us all proud! Lyne was planning to ‘enjoy and take in all the sights’ and, in spite of a hamstring pull caused by sidestepping one of the many walking through the course, she still produced a time not too many minutes outside the 4 hour mark. Well done!

Vanessa, although not near her PB, ran 3:48 on a far from easy course. Mark completed in 4:07/8 – apologies for the lack of accuracy. Well done guys, an iconic marathon to partake in and it sure sounds like you had a blast!
