Running forFun.

Fewer Strollers were racing this week but that hasn’t stopped us from training and enjoying our running.

Kirstin McGowan, or Captain Kirstin as she has been dubbed at Penshaw (!), raced the Wharfedale half – apparently this one makes Penshaw sessions seem flat. Well done girl!

Saturday saw local runners from all clubs join George Nicholson to run 8 park runs in a day. A magnificent amount of money was raised for Acorn Hospice and it was great to see even more Strollers joining him for the Silksworth leg of this epic journey. Well done you lovely lot!

Others were Lakes bound for a night recce of the first few sections of theL100. A great weekend where support for each other was top notch. (Feature photo indulges those who love the Lakes)

So thin on racing but still a great running weekend with fun and challenges been met in so many ways.
